I’m so excited to share A Happy Life with you. As much as I need to know my community, it’s as important for you to know a little about me and my background.
I am a certified Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher who has been practicing for over 30 years.
About me
A little bit of background
I’ve been married for 25 years and am a mum of two teenage boys.
I’ve found a new path in my life. Why? Because I needed a change, I was existing in this hamster wheel of living my life on repeat. I was giving to everything and everybody but forgot who I was, what I wanted, and who I wanted to become. I was miserable at work and home and felt like I had burnt out. It wasn’t until I turned to Mediation and that’s when the light switch turned on. I slowly added yoga into my daily routine along with meditation and began to give more time to live for me, that’s when I knew I had found my new purpose in life; to teach, inspire and share with others.
I became a certified yoga instructor after completing training under Corrie McCullum (Lead Teacher at Yoga London Teacher Training School).
My goal is to create an online community where like-minded people can read the struggles of others and not feel alone in their world. I have studied extensively in Mindset and Wellbeing and in Psychology. My mission is to guide women to support each other, teach to empower others, and to encourage self-development.
Like many of us, we get ourselves into a fixed mindset which often causes us to become confused and self-doubting and often feels like we are drowning in our own thoughts. By sharing wellness, yoga, and mindfulness, I hope A Happy Life provides a safe and happy environment for others to learn, share, and collaborate.
The key to being happy is knowing you have the power to choose what to accept and what to let go.
